Hormone Therapy in New Port Richey, FL
Whole-Person Care. Root-Cause Thinking.
Hormone changes can touch everything — sleep, mood, energy, weight, focus, intimacy. At Trinity Health Plus, we take time to listen first, look beyond symptoms, and find out what is actually going on before we talk about treatment.
Hormone therapy at our New Port Richey clinic is led by Dr. Turpin (Barbara Turpin, DNP, APRN), a dual board-certified family nurse practitioner with 17 years of clinical experience. Care is personal, unhurried, and guided by your labs, your symptoms, and your goals — never a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Signs your hormones may be part of the picture
For women — perimenopause and menopause can bring hot flashes and night sweats, broken sleep, mood changes, brain fog, weight that will not budge, low libido, and vaginal dryness. These changes can start years before periods stop, and they are often brushed off as "just getting older." We do not brush them off.
For men — low testosterone can show up as low energy, reduced motivation and focus, loss of muscle and strength, increased belly fat, low libido, and changes in mood or sleep. The only way to know is to test, not guess.
If any of this sounds familiar, it is worth a real conversation and the right lab work.
How we approach hormone therapy
We listen first. Your consultation is 45 minutes. We go through your symptoms, your history, and what you want to feel like again.
We test before we treat. Labs come before any prescription, so treatment is built on your actual numbers.
Read: Do I Need Lab Work Before Starting Hormone Therapy? We build your plan together. If hormone therapy is right for you, we choose the form that fits your life. We offer creams, patches, injections, and other delivery methods — everything except pellets, which we do not offer.
Read: Is Hormone Therapy Right for Me? How I DecideWe follow you closely. Hormone therapy is not "prescribe and forget." We check in on your symptoms at weeks 4 to 6, repeat labs and review them with you at weeks 6 to 8, adjust treatment at week 12, and then settle into a stable rhythm of routine monitoring.
